Is it best to buy a sim card for our time in Portugal?
It is helpful for making local calls such as restaurant reservations.
The answer depends on what carrier you have. With T-Mobile, I find it easy and inexpensive enough to use in Europe.
It’s very easy and cheap to do so. There is a Vodophone quiosque at the airport and either MEO or NOS are other main providers. They cost around €25 and give you enough data to not worry about using your phone for maps, Uber, etc.
