Leaving from Tomar is it possible to visit Batalha, Alcobaca and Obidos in a day.
Just looking to visit the main landmark in each.
You could likely do it, but I don’t know how enjoyable it would be. If I had to pick two, it would be Alcobaça and Obidos. I saw all three during a week in 2015 but one each day. Batalha and Alcobaça kind of run together in my memory. Both are historically important but also have enough similarities that seeing one might be enough.
If you have a car and you don’t need to see Tomar, then it’s physically possible to see all three in one long day, though as has already been stated, this would feel like you were just ticking a box to say you had been there, rather than being a pleasure. I also visited nearby Fatima when visiting this area.
I wild skip Batalha. Enjoyed Alcobaca’s strongbut simple architecture. Royal family tombs are there.
