Another change to Pena Palace access ticket?

I read on a Facebook group that the requirement in Peña Palace tickets in early 2023 making the interior ticket the only way to access the terraces has changed back as of the end of August. Can anyone confirm or rule this out?

Just thought I'd bump this back up in case anyone has an answer or is planning to visit Pena Palace in the next few days and can find out for sure. I haven't been able to find confirmation that this information is correct or incorrect. It would definitely make a decision about which ticket to purchase easier though. Thank you!

I took a look at the Parks of Pena ticket and I don't see them indicating that the terraces are included. In the past, when they were, the tickets listed it. Send them an email and ask. I've emailed the parks before regarding a different question I had and found them responsive (got an email back the next day)

Thanks Gail. I emailed them this morning and will update once I get a response.

I just got a response which said “Please be advised that to visit the terraces of Peña Palace you must purchase the Peña Park ticket”. It then has a link which directs me to the park tickets.

I wanted to come back to this in case it helps anyone else planning to visit PP soon. I had the park only ticket. I was able to go out onto several terraces, including the one that had chairs for what I assume was a restaurant/concession area. I was also able to walk through to what I guess was the backside of the palace, go up the steps on both sides of that terrace and wander all the way around, coming back out where I'd started. From what I could see, it did seem like there were two other terrace areas up higher that only the people with interior tickets could access, but I was quite content with what I got with just the park ticket. Hope that helps!

I am planning a trip in April, including Lisbon and a side trip to Sintra. I am not sure what specific date I will visit the Pena Palace and the Moorish castle (same day). Do I need to pick a specific date now or can I get tickets for both closer to the actual date?

I can't say for sure. I was there in January, which is a slower time to visit. I got tickets for Moorish Castle at the entrance and I think I ordered my ticket for PP the day before. If you have a day in mind and want to see the interior, you can see how many tickets for each time slot are still available before you purchase. When I looked, there were 200+ left out of what I think was maybe 350 for most time slots, but again, this was in January. April could be much different.
