Arriving late August for a few days. Would like to explore beaches including naturist options. Any recommendations?

Whereabouts on the Algarve are you staying? It takes 3 hours to drive from one end to the other not using the toll roads, so it's pointless suggesting somewhere miles away.

To my knowledge, all the beaches in Lagos are textile, as they are family, town beaches.
To the west, beyond Salema, Praia da Figueira has a naturist section, although not officially marked as such, as does nearby Furnas and Zavial. The beaches north of Vila do Bispo on the western coast are naturist from Cordoama north.
None are easily accesible by public transport - you need a car.
