Will be in Portugal the end of November to mid-December. Should I mark the Algarve off of my list of places to visit? Understand that it is not beach weather for most, and we aren't beach folk, so real question is if there is enough else to see/so to warrant traveling to that part of the County.

The Algarve is really all about the beaches. There isn’t much else IMO. Admittedly, it’s not my favorite part of the country. But, especially, if your time is limited, I would suggest skipping it. You could have some sunny days but it also could be cloudy and rainy. Not easy to predict.
