If I wanted to tour the region for 3 days, would it better to stay in Lagos or Albufeira? In Lagos I've booked a place in the city and in Albufeira in a Quinta 4km far from the city

Touring the Algarve is easier in a car than by using public transport. I prefer Lagos, as Albufeira gets too many hen and stag parties these days. However, Lagos is quite far west and you may wish to stay somewhere more centrally, such as Carvoeiro, depending on where you want to visit.
