We're looking for recommendations for a 2-3 hour boat tour of the Algarve coast that includes getting into the Benagil cave but also explores some of the lesser well-known (and hopefully less crowded) caves and other coastline and beach features. I have heard that Benagil now prohibits visits by kayaks and swimmers, due to the excessive crowds. (Is this true?) We'll be based in Albufeira.
Also, Is there an ideal time of day for boat tours? They seem to run around the 9 am, 2 pm, 5 pm time frames. We'll be there in two weeks (mid-October), so hopefully not 100+ daytime temperatures.
