We will be spending 4 nights in Algarve. Can not decide between Lagos and Albufeira for our lodging. Any recommendations on these two?

They're both great. Lagos is more of a historical town and easier to walk, and Albufeira is more a party/beach town. I liked Lagos better overall but the beach sunsets in Albufeira are amazing.
Since my wife prefers the beach we stayed in Albufeira and did day trips.
