All,
October will be my 4th visit to Portugal and I have seen a lot. One area I have sorta avoided is the Alfama. It always seemed to be like the Disneyland of Lisbon. On my last visit (June 2022) I did visit the castle and strolled down the hill. I stumbled into a couple of nice places and a lot of tourists.
This time, my wife and I will be traveling with her sister and partner (neither who have been there). I think it might be fun to explore the Alfama as it would benefit to my wife also (I spent the last week in Lisbon alone).
Does anyone have any recent local knowledge they care to shed regarding taquerias and cafes?
I promise to give back with a detailed trip report of Lisbon, Cascais and Evora.
