Any recommendations for best vineyards to visit this summer in alentejo region near Evora and Beja? And how about ones to stay overnight a few nights)? We really enjoyed quintas in Duouro River Valley that were small boutique places and was wondering whether alentejo area had some good choices there?

This is the only winery I visited in the Alentejo - we drove there from Evora. The wine is available around Portugal.

I didn't understand when I booked it that it would be a private tour and that we got to take the wine home from the tasting - they opened new bottles for us and we took home what was left in each bottle after our tasting. If you are a real wine person, it would be worth taking the expensive tasting because you are getting the bottles afterwards and they are able to plan in advance and decant or open up the bottles as needed so they are at their best when you taste them.
I would recommend this tour.
