Air Portgual refunds

Has anyone been able to receive a refund for cancelled tickets from TAP/Air Portugal? I have been waiting for several months and I'm beginning to think it will never happen. I booked through Travelocity last October and TAP cancelled my July flights and Travelocity has told that they will and should refund.

We have been waiting about 4 months for our refund from TAP.
We purchased our tickets directly from TAP. Our May flight from Lisbon to Madrid was cancelled. We were offered vouchers for future flights, to be used within one year from our original flight date. Knowing vouchers would be useless for us, we declined the voucher and requested a refund to our credit card. I quoted the EU Passenger Rights Law (Regulation 261 of the European Parliament). Several phone calls and emails later (and this has been a tedious process) TAP agreed to give us a refund. We've been waiting since June. I phone once a month to remind them. Every time I speak with a TAP customer service agent they say “it's coming”, but then they move the expected date of reimbursement further into the future. I haven’t given up yet. The annoying thing is that we purchased fully refundable tickets, just in case our plans changed.
This is the only loose end from about a dozen bookings (flights, RS Tour, Hotels, trains, event tickets) that were part of our planned trip to Portugal and Spain. Every other refund went smoothly.

Last week I got fed up of waiting for the refund of £950 that was promised back at the end of June. I wasn't sure where I stood, but knew there was a reason I purchased the flights on my credit card. One quick call to Barclaycard and they immediately credited my account and have taken up the claim on my behalf. I'm pretty confident TAP have no legal leg to stand on to refuse the refund (the flight was definitely cancelled) so I feel the money is pretty much safely back to me.

Check out the Facebook page TAP Air Portugal - Unsatisfied Customers. It has 3,500 members. If you search through the posts you may find some suggestions on how to handle your problem with getting a refund. I tried calling and messaging TAP. I finally had to ask my credit card issuer to deal with it.
