Advice on very early morning flight out of Lisbon

So I just booked a trip to Portugal for the beginning of December. My flight out of Lisbon though is unfortunately at 5am which means being at the airport at like 2-3am. Since no public transportation runs that early, I guess I need to book some kind of transfer or car service. Can anyone recommend a good transfer service or should I just ask the hotel once I get there? Would it make more sense to book a 2nd hotel the night before next to the airport?

If your hotel is in central Lisbon there is no need to book one closer to the airport. The ride by car is only about 20 minutes. You should not have a problem getting a ride with Bolt or Uber even at that hour.

No need to stay at an airport hotel - the airport in Lisbon is not far from the city (and at 2 am, it'll take all of about ten minutes to get there by car).

I would just ask my hotel to book a nice, reliable taxi for me -- have them book it the night before -- that way I wouldn't have "find a ride to the airport" on my list of things to worry about when I'm checking out at 2 am. At times like that, I want things to be predictable, easy, and reliable, I'm not worried about saving a few Euros.

We booked an Uber and one was outside our AirBnB within minutes for our 5AM pick up.

We did stay the last night at the airport. Left luggage at central hotel the last day and headed to Melia hotel late in the evening to just sleep there. It’s a 5 min walk from airport. It was very convenient from public transportation the night before and then so early in the morning.
