Activities for a teen boy in Portugal in February/off season

if there are activities that a 14 year old might find particularly fun in Lisbon, Sintra, Porto or points between them (no car- bus/train travel only), I'd welcome suggestions. I'm dealing with a somewhat reluctant traveler this go-round, only teen child; he enjoys good food/seafood, but doesn't particularly like churches or museums, so I'll need to be creative to keep him engaged. Castles have a greater appeal, and I think the Lisbon aquarium will be a hit.

(I should mention that I think 1-2 day trips to Sintra, time at the aquarium in Lisbon, and then just wandering around Lisbon and Porto - and taking a high speed train to Porto - should probably do the trick. Castles are a good standby so the more I think about it, the more I think this trip plans itself nicely)
