We are planning to stay near Nerji, Spain for the 1st two weeks of March/18 then two weeks West of Faro, Portugal. We plan to fly in/out of Seville & rent a car so these two are relatively close to drive to/from. Anyone recommend a 2 bed 2 bath villa or apt. in this area of Portugal. We plan to take day tours i.e. Lisbon etc. every few days.
I am checking other websites i.e. VBRO, TripAdvisor but would like a personal recommendation.
Anyone?

I've no recent experience on the Algarve but would suggest you investigate driving times carefully on ViaMichelin. The latter's estimates are thought to be a bit optimistic, and it is guessing over 3 hours each way from Faro to Lisbon by the fastest route. I don't think the Algarve is terribly well-positioned as a base for day-trips to the places many tourists want to visit in central Portugal. Evora is over 3 hr. 15 min. away, for example.
I'm not familiar at all with Nerja, but I wonder: Have you visited the Costa del Sol and the Algarve previously? Two weeks in each would be utter boredom for me. I do not play golf, however.
