Accommodation near Cais do Sodré & Things to do with kids?

Hi I found an apartment near "Cais do Sodré" and timeout market. Will that be a good place to stay? Will that be hilly?
I will be staying in Lisbon for a week in July. Since I am visiting with kids (2 and 6 years old), I do not plan on doing much but want to do a very relaxed trip where I would visit one or two places a day.
I read the tour book and thought of going to aquarium for 1 day, Belem for 1 day, old town areas for 2 days, Sintra for 1 day. (Booked Cascais for 3 days in addition to the one week in Lisbon). Will Sintra be too difficult w stroller?
Do you have any suggestions for places to visit with kids? Or what other places should I visit?
Thank you!

The Cais do Sodre area is flat and stays flat along the river. However, it quickly goes uphill to the Chiado area. If you don’t want to climb the hill, there is a metro in the Cais do Sodré train station (across from Time Out Market). It is an up and coming area but still has buildings that haven’t been restored. Parts of the area (Pink Street) are night life areas, so you might want to inquire where the apartment is in relation to that street.

The children would like the aquarium but I don’t know about the other areas of town. Maybe someone with small children will add information. In Sintra, the grounds of Quinta da Regaleira would interest the children. I would think a stroller would be fine in Sintra other than trying to climb the spiral well at the Quinta.

Thank you again. I decide to stay near Cais do Sodré. I also like your suggestion for Quinta da Regaleira. I think that will be more fun than castle.
Do you use an app for taxi in Lisbon and Cascais? When I use google map, I find several options such as uber, kapten, mytaxi, cabify - but am unsure which ones are good to use. Any insights?

In recent months, I pretty exclusively use Uber. I’ve used regular phone numbers for taxis but not an app.
