I'm trying to plan a trip for my family including my elderly parents to see a lot in Portugal in a little time. We will be in Porto and I was wondering if anyone can recommend a tour company that will take a group to the Douro Valley to see the amazing vineyards that perhaps includes a boat trip? Thank you in advance!

I did the small group tour with Cooltours Oporto as the previous post also mentions, and I recommend it. It included a boat ride. There are many similar sounding tours from other venders that are probably fine too. I chose this one because: it offered a small group (limited to 8, I think) in a van, it visits smaller family-run vineyards, they responded very quickly and helpfully to my email inquiry, and it was recommended by someone on this forum as well on the Julie Dawn Fox blog.

I also did a day tour with CoolTour Oporto and was very pleased. Bear in mind it’s a long day!
