We are flying home from Naples after joining a Rick Steves tour of Sicily. WE had the opportunity to include a layover in Lisbon of 19 hours. We have been to Lisbon so not looking to see sites, but hoping to find a simple meal and a small Fado club. We are staying in a hotel near the airport so we will uber into Lisbon. Any suggestions?

I would take an Uber to the Alfama neighborhood and walk around this tree lined quaint neighborhood and find a mom and pop place to dine and listen to fado music.

We typically taking visitors for Fado, and dinner, at Café Luso in Bairro Alto. They always come away with a love for Fado. We have friends who also recommend Tasca do Chico but we've not been. Both are small intimate venues.
