9.5 days in Portugal. Critique my itinerary

First time in Portugal, will be there beginning of September (arrive on a Wednesday). Fly into Lisbon from BCN and arrive around 11:15 am.

Day 1: Train to Coimbra, arrive around 3-4 pm. Explore Coimbra

Day 2: Explore more of Coimbra, afternoon train to Porto, explore Porto

Day 3: Porto

Day 4: Morning in Porto, afternoon flight to Lisbon (around 3-4 pm), explore Lisbon during evening (I can maybe take a later flight since it looks like I'll have lots of time in Lisbon)

Day 5: Beach day near Lisbon (I may end up having the first half of the day free because the shuttle to the beach I want to go to leaves around noon or so)

Day 6: Either Sintra or stay in Lisbon (depending if the sights I want to see in Lisbon are closed today, this will be a Monday)

Day 7: Lisbon

Day 8: Lisbon

Day 9: Evora or Sintra

Day 10: Lisbon

Only one thing: why flying from Porto to Lisbon? I see a train doing it in 3 hours. Much quicker than flying and at the unbeatable price of €24,30. Consult the website of the Portuguese railways.

I forgot to add a note about Coimbra. Should I keep it there or skip it?

I know train is an option between Porto and Lisbon, but seems like I would spend the same amount of time in travel. The flight is not much more expensive anyway.

€18.50 and 2.6 hours via the AP.
I would "travel by train" .

Ok let's not focus on how I'm getting between the two cities. I'm wondering if this plan makes sense, but my more pressing concern is if I should skip Coimbra and dedicate the extra time elsewhere. Also note, I'm likely not doing the Douro Valley.
