Searching online I have seen everything from 2-4 hours in advance. Maybe someone on the forum has flown out of Lisbon and can share their experience? Thanks for your help.
PS We will have our COVID tests already done.

I would allow 2 hours (90 minutes pre Covid). Your airline should advise you.
Flying Lisbon to Munich will not require passport control. I’ve flown out of Lisbon to another EU country a couple of times summer/fall. I arrived 90 minutes early and was fine. If you want to be safe, two hours will give you time for coffee and the last pastel da nata!
I hope KathrynJ is right, but we needed about 3 hours just for a domestic flight (Porto to Lisbon) in August. Maybe we just hit a bad day, but the signs are everywhere -- come at least an hour earlier than you used to. I guess your airline, though, is more reliable than we are.
Great - thank you, both!

You know that you could have taken the train from Porto to Lisbon in less than 3 hours?
Not Lisbon, but we had a 6am flight from Porto last month and got there about 2 hours before. The baggage claim line took forever as they needed to check people's COVID passes/tests/etc. and we made it to our gate just before boarding began.
Thanks @mimieprice - I appreciate the warning! It sounds like 2 1/2 hours will be good (I try to avoid that last minute scramble for the gate).
Any updates on necessary time to arrive LIS airport prior to departure to US? I have seen 4 hrs or 2 and 1/2 hrs …
Line for arrivals last week from USA was 3 hrs
We just flew out yesterday morning at 10:00. We arrived at 7:00 and barely made it to the gate on time. The passport control line was brutal.
