6 days in Portugal

A friend and I are arriving in Lisbon in just a few weeks (last minute trip) and would love recommendations on what areas/towns are not to be missed?
We were originally thinking of going down towards Algarve but seems from what I have read everything is pretty quiet and closed up this time of year.
We were thinking of either going from Lisbon to Porto staying in both for a few days each and then stopping in Nazare and Obidos, Sintra and Caiscas along the way?

Douro Valley?

What about Evora, is it worth the trip?

We will not really be spending time at many museums this trip although we know there are pretty palaces etc we are more interested in the scenery, culture and and cafes/restaurants. Doing a wine tasting is on our list too

With only six days, I would recommend staying in Lisbon the whole time (wonderful city) and doing day trips - suggest Sintra and Évora.

With only 6 days, I would stay the entire time in Lisbon and take a day trip to Cascais or Evora.

Nazare isn’t a favourite location of mine. Obidos is worth a couple of hours en route somewhere else.

I would agree, with limited time I would stay in Lisbon (plenty to do there). I highly recommend LisbonRiders.com who offers guided tours. We took the Sintra & Cascais tour. Many positive reviews on this forum.
