3 nights in Lisbon, 1 in Porto

We're visiting Portugal in April for several days (then going to Madrid for a few nights), as son is studying abroad in Spain. Have not been to Portugal before and do not know if/when we'd have an opportunity to go back. So we like to see as much as we can, understanding that we likely can't see it all, and that some of our sightseeing is more superficial than completely in depth. We typically do not spend hours upon hours in museums, but like to walk around cities and get a good feel for them, take walking tours, often do a food tour, etc. That being said, wanted to get ideas as I plan our 3+ days in Lisbon. Have read about Sintra and I think we would enjoy a visit, would that be practical with 3 full days in Lisbon? Also planning on visiting Porto for about 1.5 days, if anyone has thoughts on what are the best things to concentrate on, would love to hear. Thanks!

4 nights in Portugal, you need much more time.

Porto is a great city, love it, but I say skip with the time you have. When you to Porto, you should also go up the Douro River Valley, the most scenic in Europe. You would take the train to Regua or Pinhao for a day or two.
If you do go to Porto, try to stay at The InPatio Guesthouse. The BEST B&B EVER. Book EARLY.

If you do go to Lisbon, you need three days there. If you have more do a day trip to Sintra.
