3 month rentals in Lisbon

All,
Looks like my wife is fed up (finally) with New England Winters and thus we are planning to spend 3 months in Lisbon next Winter. The usual suspects (Airbnb, VBRO) don't show a lot of possibilities and are very expensive. Does anyone know of a source for the sort of medium-term rental we seek?
(K, I posted here rather than email you in case someone else has looked into the question)

Regards,

Unless you have EU passports, you'll need a long-stay visa to spend more than 90 days in the Schengen area, of which Portugal is a part, within any 180-day period. Both arrival day and departure day count. Exceeding that limit may well lead to a fine and/or being banned from the entire area for a period of time.

I'm sorry I can't help with your specific question.

I am aware of that limitation which is why I specified 3 months, but thanks for the reminder

Don’t confuse 90 days with 3 months. They are not necessarily the same thing.

It wasn’t in Lisbon, but I recently stayed for a month in an Airbnb in Paris. Because we were there for that length of time we got a substantial discount. If you see something interesting you could message the host and inquire about the possibility of getting a discount. I would think many hosts/landlords would be willing to do that with knowing that the place would be rented the entire time.

I agree with the previous poster who suggested contacting the apartment owners to inquire about a longer stay. I have friends who winter here in Cascais and they seem to have no problem finding a longer term rental. You could also try Idealista and Casa Sapo. These sites are for purchasing and long term rentals but might also have a few that are willing to do three months.
