3.5 days in Portugal en route to Spain with 15 yr old

Hi, my daughter (15) and I will be flying into Lisbon in June en route to Spain.
We arrive midday on a Fri and need to be in Madrid by midmorning Tues, so we can leave Mon late afternoon or really early Tues AM - as we are 2 females, we prefer not to fly into Madrid late at night. The flight from LIS-MAD is not yet booked.

Should we stay in Lisbon for the 3 nights? We considered taking the train to Porto and flying to Madrid from there, but I don't really think we have time.

I would also be grateful for suggestions of activities for teens. She loves photography (architecture and nature), seafood, and art (making it, not museums).

Many thanks!

Maybe a tile painting workshop? Tiles (azulejos) are all over the buildings in the older parts of Lisbon. There’s even a Tile Museum! Agood class will explain the history, and you get a souvenir to take home. I took one in Porto, and it was great.

Be aware that the tiles generally need firing time, so you have to pick them up one to two days later. Or most places will ship it for a fee. If you search “tile painting Lisbon” you’ll come up with options.
Maybe a photography class that focuses on the Lisbon architecture? Or seafood cooking class? The Get Your Guide site has a lot of things like that.
