Hi! I’m a solo traveler coming to Obidos for a weeklong art retreat in mid October. Looking for a base to spend two full days before class starts, somewhere within two hours of Lisbon. I’ve been to Lisbon and Sintra so looking for something different, smaller, near the coast. I enjoy cultural stuff, the beach, a good mountain drive, shopping, small churches, family owned restaurants. I’m thinking Ericeira or Figueira da Foz.
I’d love to hear your thoughts about those two, or somewhere else I should look at. Maybe day trips, hotels, etc.
