Luis, who runs this B&B is a very charming host. The room with castle view and terrace is very comfortable, breakfasts are hearty and he even provides you with a phone so he can help you if you get lost! In all my travels, no one has ever done that! This particular room is in a house with no elevator and very narrow, steep stairs. If this is a problem for you, ask for the ground floor apt. Yes, Luis was very gracious and wonderful host. We stayed 3 nights in mid-May in the ZuzaBed Guest House with shared bathroom on each floor. Delicious, full breakfast. Short walk DOWNHILL to Rossio Station and Rossio/Praca dom Pedro IV and Baixa. Easy to get back up the hill from the escalators at end of Baixa/Chiado Metro station, then just 5 minutes (including useful elevator inside parking garage pedestrian entrance off Rua Garrett).
