Restaurants near Holiday Inn Continental Hotel; areas Chiado, Alfama & Rossio

My wife & I (aged 74) will visit Lisbon for the first time April 19-23, 2019 pre-cruise. Realizing it is Easter weekend, where may we find moderately-priced meals that include vegetables and fruit? We will be moving all day between major neighborhoods/attractions and plan to "graze" along the way. However, we do plan to have our "big meal of the day" in early afternoon since we go to bed earlier than most who will be having their culturally-late evening dinners. (Our Easter dinner will be at our hotel since many restaurants will close as they should.) Thanks in advance to all who respond!

In Portugal many vegetables are served in the form of soup so be aware of that. Pick up fruit at a Pingo grocery store.

How late is your usual dinner? I agreed with Rick - Portugal eats about the same time as France, and definitely much earlier than Spain. So, if you can eat dinner at 7 or 8 PM, you'll be fine in Lisbon, but you'll have trouble in Spain.
