We're traveling to Porto and will have a car. I'm looking for hotel recommendations that has parking.

Go to booking.com, enter Porto and the dates you will be there. Then you will have more choices, including “sort”, choose “hotels with parking.”

Hotels in the center of Porto don’t have parking but often have agreements with nearby garages. Find the hotel you like and contact them regarding parking. We stayed at the Se Catedral and parked in the garage a couple blocks away after dropping off our luggage.

The Holliday Inn Porto Gaia has parking for €12 a night, from what I gather. It's south of the Douro River and easy to drive to. It's within a somewhat reasonable walking distance of the port, but I believe there is a tram a few blocks east. The room I stayed in was like a small L-shaped apartment with a mini-fridge, sink, burners and microwave behind some doors. Very spacious. The breakfast was good.
