Recently visited Portugal, starting with two nights in Porto. Stayed at Guesthouse Duoro. Wonderful place. Carmen and João went above and beyond making me feel at home, helping with sights and restaurants, and more. And the breakfast is great, individual setup for each table. Located on the river, I highly recommend a stay here while in Porto.

We stayed with them last July. What a great place and great location!!
The best part however is feeling like we made 2 new friends with Carmen & Joao. These are 2 of the nicest people we have met in over 20 plus years of traveling throughout Europe. If you ever are in Porto don't miss the chance to stay with them and make some new friends as well! We would return to Porto in a heartbeat if for no other reason than to stay with them again at the Guest House Duoro!!
