Looking for hotel recommendations for september trip to Portugal with good location to all and little roomier. Looks like it is a busy time there and many of the rooms we are finding are very small because the larger ones are booked. Looking in the Baixa area that has been recommended in many posts. Thanks for input. :)

Be Poet Baixa Hotel
I stayed here last October and really liked it. Great location. And in the Baixa neighborhood. Very good breakfast.
However I remember my room being small but it was just me.

Just a thought if you are comfortable with using the metro. We stayed at Corinthia Lisboa (Viking cruises put us up here). It is 5 minutes from a metro stop which has a direct line to the Baixa and a free shuttle that runs every 30 minutes. Very big rooms and like a typical American hotel like Hilton if that is what you are looking for- spa, pool and restaurants. Up by the zoo.

If this helps you at all, our starting RS hotel for an upcoming tour in Lisbon is the My Story Fiqueira. His hotels, from our many tours with him, are centrally located and clean.
