You will find many good hostels in Lisbon city center.
I would specially recommend you these two:
Travellers House Baixa, in Baixa area, in street Rua Augusta - www.travellershouse.com
Goodnight Hostel, also in the same area - www.goodnighthostellisbon.com
Both these hostels are modern, clean, great staff, good price and nice private rooms.
