I stayed here for two nights in mid-December and thought this was one of the best B&B’s I have experienced. Fernando and Olga were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was great and featured artisanal specialty foods from around Portugal. The building was rehabbed with style, incorporating original stone elements and modern bathroom fixtures. Very well done. The location close to the Palace of the Stock Exchange and the Ribeira but still an easy walk up to the Sao Bento train station is a good compromise. I thought the pricing was reasonable too.
