I plan travel from Lisbon to Salema in late December with my adult son. The hotels mentioned in the RS guide are all closed at that time. Does anyone have any recommendations? TIA!

Salema is a very small town and is primarily a seasonal place to visit. I don’t know where else you’re going but the Algarve coast is out of season in the winter and many hotels and restaurants will be closed. I visited Salema in early November and it was dead. My advice is to stay to sights further north.
