Looking for suggestions for hotels for one night in Coimbra and two nights in Evora. We will be traveling by train so a central location is important. I have booked three nights in Porto and four nights in Lisbon.

Abergaria do Calvardo in Evora. Recently included on 2018 Trip Advisors list of best hotels. It was listed in two categories- Hotels for Service and Value for Money. Wonderful place to stay. Service was fantastic. Price very reasonable. Greatly joyed our visit in 2015.

Try this. I stayed here many many years ago it's a 15th Century Convent and there was part of an ancient Roman Temple on the Square just in front of the hotel. It was a magical place and I loved it.

We stay at the pousada with an Odyssey Unlimited tour. The food was excellent, it's centrally located and the area is very walkable. We were entranced by all the items made from cork.
