I'm planning 20 days in Poland, late Apr. to mid May. Flying in and out of Warsaw. Our tentative itinerary is: Warsaw 4 nights, Gdansk 4 nights, Torun 2, Wroclaw 3, Krakow 5, and 2 nights in Zakopane. Unfortunately those last 2 nights before leaving from Warsaw fall on a weekend, and I fear a tourist/resort town like Zakopane will be aswarm. Should I Break up the stay in Krakow? -- 3 nights, then Zakopane, then 2 nights back in Krakow and a shorter travel day before flying? I'm thinking a few days in the Tatra Mtns might be refreshing after a heavy day at Auschwitz. Any advice is welcome.
