We would like to go from Zakopane to Budapest. Has anyone taken a bus or is it recommended to drive. If driving, what is recommended route avoiding mountain driving. Thanks in advance for your help.

Driving would be expensive, as renting a car in Poland and dropping it in Hungary would be expensive, plus there is not much of a way to avoid mountains as the Tatra Mountains stand between Poland and Hungary.

Flying would be the most practical way if waiting to avoid mountains, look for flights from Krakow to Budapest.
