I have very limited time in Warsaw later this month, then on to Krakow for a few days. Those of you that have visited both of these museums, which do you think I should visit? (going to Auschwitz from Krakow). Thank you!
They are both excellent, but they cover two different subject areas. I could not decide which subject interests you more. The only advice I would give is to give yourself enough time to visit either because they're very thorough with a lot of info covered - at least 3 hours, if not more.
We visited both and preferred the History of Polish Jews Museum. It was newer and seemed easier to navigate. The Warsaw Uprising Museum seemed more cramped and was very loud when we were there. It does, of course, depend on your interests.
