Warsaw - How Is This Location?

Hi, I booking places to stay in Warsaw and on booking dot com I found No.4 Residence at ul. Nowogrodzka 4a. I’m wondering if this would be a good location? I’ve never been to Poland. Thanks for any help and I’m open to other places to stay if anyone has a recommendation. It will be me and my husband only.

I've only been to Warsaw twice, but I'd say the location is a bit off the main tourism area, seems more residential, then again the sites in Warsaw are pretty spread out. The old town area is more to the north, closer to the river.

Thanks Carlos, that’s good to know. When I filtered for popular area and less than 1 mile from the city center it came up with a number of places in this area. I’ll look in the old town area.

Looking for a nice uptick in lodging - it's a hotel - Sheraton Grand Warsaw, Club Lounge Level - my finest stay in Europe over 35 trips.

Nowogrodzka 4a is a very good location, city centre, next to a designer shopping mall, short walk to the National Museum and the Royal Route, lots of public transport options along Al. Jerozolimskie

As someone mentioned above, Warsaw sightseeing is pretty spread out. I don't think this location is bad, looks good in fact though I guess not central to the (remade after the war) Old Town. I would give myself plenty of time to get from point A to point B and check out local bus routes, and/or consider taxis. We walked a lot in Warsaw, but the weather was good and we had the time. Really interesting city.

I agree with the two comments directly above - your choice is just a few blocks from the RS recommended Hotel Indigo and Chopin Boutique. Great access to public transportation, and perhaps less touristy than the Old Town.

I agree with qq, Elena, and Mark. Being right there along Jerozolimskie means you can zip in and out - look at all those tram stops! It would also be nice being near Lazienki park.

Haven't stayed there, but it seems very centrally located to me.

I was in Warsaw last spring. Stayed at Chopin Boutique Hotel, which (as noted above) is quite close to where you are staying. I think you have an excellent location.
