We have a 7:40am departing flight for Frankfurt in Warsaw in September (to connect to a Lufthansa flight back to US). How early do we need to be at the airport? We are staying at an airbnb in Warsaw but are considering staying the night before flight at a hotel near the airport. Can anyone recommend an airport that is close to airport and has a shuttle (running early in the am)? TIA for your help.

Since both Germany and Poland are both in Schengen, you will need to be at the airport 2 hours before departure. There are 2 Marriotts on site, a Courtyard, and a Renaissance.

We're doing something similar in October. We are doing Airbnb all except the final night.
She booked Hotel Witkowski near the airport - she is leaving earlier than I am to head to LHR to connect - similar time you are leaving - she said she picked this one because it had a shuttle.

Thanks for that info. Has anyone stayed at the Hotel Okecie? It is also right near the airport, has 24 hour free shuttle service to and from the airport and has very good ratings. We are looking for someplace where we can stay and also get a decent dinner, since we will have to check out of our airbnb in Warsaw proper that morning.
