Trains are a good way to travel and inexpensive.
4-7 nights Warsaw and same for Krakow, although people often stay less. I wasn’t especially impressed with Czestochowa (as a city) and only spent 1 night (although I am sure it’s interesting enough).
I went to Jasna Gora in Czestochowa as a long day trip from Krakow years ago. You could certainly break up the travel between Krakow & Warsaw by overnighting in Czestochowa. Train travel is wonderful in Poland & also a great way to see the country. Depends on your time & interests for time spent in each city.
We just spent 3.5 days in Krakow and could have spent another day because Auschwitz tour was a full day. We spent 2.5 days in Warsaw and felt like that was plenty. If you like art museums, you will want another day in Warsaw.
