Trouble buying tickets for Krakow sites

So I get on the official site (muzeumkrakowa.pl) that handles tickets for Schindler factory, Rynek underground, and several other attractions around Krakow. I select my date and time (late May), enter my credit card info, and click purchase. It accepts my cc, but after a while I get a message saying my transaction failed. I immediately get an email invoice showing a purchase; a couple of hours later, I get another email saying that my transaction has been cancelled, and the amount of my purchase will be refunded. I've tried it once a week for the last 3 weeks, with the same result. Does anyone out there know why this is happening?

Check with your credit card company to see whether it is seeing but rejecting the transactions. Can it enable 3D secure?

If no joy there, try every other credit card you have. Some cards will work; it's a matter of luck whether one of yours falls in that category. You may receive a text or email to verify that you're the one performing the transaction, so watch for those.

If no luck with credit cards, you might try using your debit card.

Final possibility: Do those websites accept PayPal? That never seems to fail if it's an option.

For Rynek underground, did you try the "Booking only - payment at ticket office" option?

You would then pick up the tickets and pay at one of these locations:

With your reservation number, we invite you to the ticket offices of the Underground Market in the Cloth Hall (Sukiennice) or to the Visitor Service Center in the Krzysztofory Palace (Rynek Główny 35)

Edited to add: I just purchased a ticket to the Rynek underground in April - I received the first e-mail [invoice} and then a couple of minutes later, a second e-mail with the bilety [ticket] attached. After I clicked purchase and it went to the external site, there was indication that it was going through the 3D secure verification with my bank, as referenced above. So if you haven't seen that step, it may be your problem. This purchase was with the Barclay's AARP Travel card; I've also been prompted for confirmations when using my CapitalOne card.

We also had similar issues booking tickets for the Schindler Factory this past summer. We emailed the museum to figure out what was happening. They advised us to use the pay in person option. So we reserved our spots online, then paid and picked up our tickets at their office in Krakow. It worked fine.

It appears that the booking only option for Schindler's is no longer available - only the purchase option.

I've had various problems like this in the past.

1) try another credit card
2) make sure pop-up-blocker isn't blocking a window you need to complete the transaction
3) check if there's an app and try the purchase there

I struggled getting a high-speed train ticket once and I was so stressed out because the first 1 or 2 seats I'd chosen had sold while I was trying to fix the problem. A nice local told me the app name and I was able to buy and download the tickets to my google wallet.
