My wife and I are considering a trip to Eastern Europe in March of this year. Even though I'm sure weather would be better later into the spring does anyone have experience traveling to major cities in Poland or Prague in March? Thanks
I guess you are interested in weather in Central Europe in March. If you are lucky weather could be pleasant. If you are not so lucky it could be cold and cloudy. If you are unlucky it could rain. If you are very unlucky it could be snowing and freezing. The only guarantee I will dare to give you that it won't be very hot. But with global warming I should be very careful with that, too. :-)
In Europe you never know. Huge floods in Moravia (region of Czech R.) with many towns, cities, roads under water were in JULY 1997. 2002 floods in Prague, Dresden, Cesky Krumlov and too many other towns were in AUGUST. It's more about your luck than season.
Wrocław is popular town with best weather in Poland. In March it can be snowy.
I think Poland is good :) I was in Warsaw last year during spring and weather was OK. I have to addmit that it is better to prepare yourself to changes in weather. This time in Poland, the weather is one day good, and the other not so good as previous day - we experienced it. But, I think, it cannot complicate your plans :)
