I'll be traveling with some family members to Warsaw, Krakow & Gdansk this spring. We'd also like to make a day trip to Kalisz from Warsaw, because we believe my great-grandparents came from there. We'd like to hire a tour guide for the few hours that we'll be there, but I haven't had luck finding one online. Does anyone know of a network of tour guides, or has anyone been to Kalisz? Kalisz is a site connected to Napoleonic history, it was known as Kalisch then. I've not been there, am aiming at going as a day trip to Pszczyna south of Katowice in the Upper Silesian region in June, a definite historical place with its famous chateau.
