Tour Guide in Krakow

Looking to book a guide for three of us for a half day (or longer) tour of Krakow in October. RS guide book recommends three: Tomasz Klimek, Marta Chmielowska and Ann Bakowska. The Krakow podcast used Beata McCommas. Has anyone used any of these guides and what are your thoughts.

I appreciate your recommendations.

Also consider Andrew Durman. I have not used a guide in Poland, but he's highly recommended here (you can Google his info).

We used Andrew a few years ago. He is wonderful in every respect!

I'm in Krakow this week and have used Christopher Skutela, who owns Private Tours Krakow. He is bright, young (35 yo), and well-traveled. He is a native of Poland and is very willing to discuss his personal experiences, including his memories of the end of Communism when he was 10 years old. He also has a good grasp of the collective experience of the Polish over the last several hundred years. I can't recommend him more highly.

All - Thank you for your comments and recommendations. We have booked with Tomasz Klimek who is one of the recommendations in RS guide. We chose him based on his availability. I will update with feedback after we return.

Our Tour with Tomasz Klimek [email protected] was FANTASTIC! He was recommended in the RS Guide and I can see why. He shared his passion for the city and his heritage - all while making it fun. He gave us tips on things to do on our own and every one of his suggestions was spot on. You will not be disappointed.
