Sleeper train from Wroclaw

I would like to book a sleeper train from Wroclaw to Budapest. After considerable time on the net I can’t seem to find a site where I can book. Also many of the suggested trains don’t specifically tell me I’m booking a ‘sleeper’. I am also presuming that the number of times the train stops does not mean that you have to change trains at any stage.

I would be so grateful to the Rick Steve’s community if you can help me move forward on this one.

As always when it comes to train travel in Europe, The Man in Seat 61 has answers. If you have any further questions, the Tripadvisor Train Travel forum is usually very helpful.

But in short, you do not have to change train between Wroclaw and Budapest. There is a direct night train although with a pretty late departure (22.54). You can buy tickets at www.oebb.at or www.bahn.de

Have you tried the OEBB, the Austrian railways? I tried for a random date (end next week) and found I could reserve a sleeper car with even the choice of a 3-, 2- or 1-bed compartment.
And the stops are indeed only stops. The NightJet is a direct connection.

There is nothing wrong with your replies, but having just returned from Poland, I'll note that I got very good results (and advance-purchase and Senior discounts) from https://rozklad-pkp.pl/ , the Polish rail company. Looking at your trip, I saw many trips with 6 connections (on the first Search result page), but also results with 0 connections, and the words like Nightjet and Sleeper on the detailed results. My tickets were print-at-home, passport shown for ID to the conductor.
