Hello-I am a solo traveler who is very excited to be going to Poland for the 1st time. Both Gdansk and Krakow hotels were easy to book rooms for a September 1 arrival and a September 16 departure. I will be staying in the same rooms as on the tour, so there is room for another solo female guest, if anyone is interested in any of those days. It is my wish to join others for tours/meals/walks etc. during our unstructured time. My concern is about ones that might need to be booked ahead of time. I have booked the Auschwitz Museum for the 3.5 hour tour on Friday, September 13 at 12:30 pm directly with them. While my mother's mother was born in the USA, my other grandparents arrived from Poland in the early 1900s. LOL Like Martha Stewart, I am a Polish-American born in Jersey City, NJ. I was gifted a 23 and Me account, but that is the only genealogy work that I have done so far. I am a Boomer who has lived in AZ for 20 years.
