Seeking Apartment recommendation in Krakow

We are two couples in our mid sixties heading to Prague and Krakow in spring. Can anyone recommend a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment in Krakow or either city hopefully near Old Town? Budget would be up to $225 USD per night. We would also prefer not to deal with multiple flights of stairs, so a lower floor is preferrable if there is no lift. I can find lots of listings for two bedroom one bathroom apartments but each couple would prefer their own bedroom and bathroom if possible. I have checked the traditional rental sites and have seen just a few but was wondering if anyone had a recommendation from personal experience. Thanks for your input.

In Krakow I stayed at the Grodzka 4 Apartments in 2014 and I loved it. Out the door and around the corner and you were in the main old square, couldn't have been better. Train station was a 5-10 minute walk. Mine was a studio and it was newly updated with new appliances, large shower in the bathroom, exposed brick walls, hard wood floors, new bedding. It looks like they have 2 bedroom apartments but with only one bathroom. However, if available, you could get two studios or one bedroom apts and still be within your budget, that way you'd each have your own space but be in the same bldg. I highly recommend them.

EDIT: I missed that you were also asking about Prague. I stayed at Apartments Pushkin in Prague, again close to the main square and 5 minute walk to the bridge so very convenient for sightseeing. It was also a nice apartment and very very inexpensive, a really good value for the location. They don't have 2 bedroom apartments but do have studios and one bedrooms and the studios are fine for 2 people so you could get 2 apts well under your total budget.

Just a note, 2 bedroom apartments with 2 bathrooms are quite a bit rarer in Europe than in US so you might have to compromise on that or up your budget.

I think you should be able to get two nice hotel rooms for that price (unless, of course, you need a kitchen facility). Check www.booking.com.

We rented one bedroom apartments over the past few years in both cities, but the agencies we used probably have larger units that may work for you. We were happy with both rental companies.

In Krakow we rented from this agency:

And in Prague we rented from this agency:
