Hello! I will be visiting Auschwitz in late November and touring with a group of about 30 people. We are looking for a restaurant where we can eat a late lunch together (casual is fine) and also debrief our Auschwitz experience a bit. A private room would be ideal. We are open to something close to Auschwitz or in the Jewish Quarter in Krakow.

Are you aware of how far it is to Auschwitz from Krakow? It is hard to do a complete tour of the two camps (usually using the provided shuttle bus between) and finish before lunch. We had a quick bite in the cafeteria run by the Auschwitz management. I might add that it was not our first KL visit, which made it a little easier to eat after a morning of shocking sights.
However, Auschwitz is always jammed to capacity, so it would be hard for 30 people to arrive at the cafeteria at one time, and they would not be seated together. Maybe if the camp is scheduling a special tour for your group, they could provide something else??
Auschwitz cafeteria is not the only choice in Oswiecim. Oswiecim is a pretty large town, there are plenty of restaurants there, most with very good reviews, you can find them on Tripadvisor or google. Residents also need restaurants for bigger events so surely at least some of them accommodate large groups.
