Recommended guide for Krakow?

We are interested in any highly engaging experiences to introduce teens to the history of Krakow, including experiences related to WWII and communism. Our family is of Jewish background, so we are looking in particular for knowledge of this history. We will tour Aushcwitz, but thinking along the lines of a private walking tour or other opportunities with an engaging, knowledgeable guide. I don't want to overwhelm the teens with history, so a good balance of humor and respect will be important. Thanks for any ideas! My kids are 15 and 17.

Not so much serious, but your kids might enjoy a Crazy Guides tour of Nowa Huta. You get to ride in an old school car (I got to help push start the Trabant, twice!) and learn about living in communist times. I thought it was fun and interesting and a good balance to the heavy topics I had in other parts of Krakow. https://www.crazyguides.com/
