Looking for advice on traveling Dallas to Gdansk
Take Lufthansa or American, the former requires a connection in Frankfurt the latter in Amsterdam.
Where do you want to fly back from?
We had serious issues with connections in Frankfurt earlier this year with American. We missed our Dulles connection and it took us 2 days just to get to an airport 200 miles from our destination. Had to rent a car to get home.
I would suggest going through Schiphol Airport. Gdansk and many cities to the east are just a little difficult to get to.
We end up in Lake Bled/ Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Yes, we have had bad connections in Frankfurt as well with Lufthansa....
Hey!!
I'm looking at flying direct to Warsaw then taking a train up to Gdansk. I really don't want to rely on stopovers for the obvious "you just missed your connection" routine. It looks as though its a 2-3 hour train ride.
I fly to London and spend a few days then i go out of Luton direct to Gdańsk on Wizz air.. check the baggage restriction's.. you have to pay extra for a checked bag and limited carry on but have done this for many destinations including Tromso Norway and Cyprus. Great way to get over jet lag in London then go to Luton for a flight on easy jet, wizz etc. i am going to Gdanks next week via london
