Questions about Extra Legroom Seat

Hi Friends and Fellow Travelers.
I'm heading to Poland on Wednesday and am wearing a leg brace due to knee issues. We are booked through LOT Polish Airlines and I paid for the extra leg room seat so I can stretch out my leg. I later realized that I may not be able to keep my backpack with me during the flight. Has anyone flown in this seat and if so, what did you do with your backpack? I am checking my suitcase but my backpack will contain my tech, meds and travel essentials for the plane. Thanks so much!!

EDIT: My seat is 20c

Not enough information in your post to answer. It depends on the location of your extra legroom seat on the plane. A bulkhead seat will require all bags put in the overhead for take off and landing. A regular extra legroom seat will have overhead space, but depending on your height, you may not be stretching your leg out fully.

What seat?

A quick look at LOT revealed the 'extra legroom' seats are at bulkheads on the 787 aircraft and have no under seat storage. Presumably you would be allowed to put everything in the overhead bin

If you are in a bullhead seat, you will be required to put any backpacks or small bags in the overhead compartment during take off and landing.

The flight attendants will come around and help if you have a problem with this.
